The Prinsu racks come with the option for a 40" light bar cutout, for users with this option we've created a turn key kit that includes everything you need to get a performance based lighting solution. This kit utilizes our 7 Light XL Linkable kit that provides you with a crisp 22,050 lumens. In terms of hardware and accessories we include brackets that are proprietary to Prinsu's rack design, all required hardware, a relay harness for the XL Linkable, and Rock Guards. This is an all inclusive kit that will compliment your Prinsu rack along with giving you some serious night time lighting performance.

Driving/Combo: Maximum trail coverage in a single light. The Driving/Combo pattern is equipped with both Wide Driving (44°) and spot (6°) optics to provide you with a smooth blend of light for both near field applications and distance (Lighting Zone 3)

Wide Cornering: BD was the first to develop a pattern specifically for cornering, dust and/or fog conditions. The Wide Driving pattern offers a 44° flattened horizontal beam for the ultimate in comfort lighting. (Lighting Zones 1 & 2)

Missing pieces

My overall experience with this product hasn't been great. I guess when you pay close to 2k for an item, you expect that all the parts should be included. First, I ordered the optional mounts because I thought those would be necessary for install with the prinsu roof rack. What they don't mention is that those optional mounts are for mounting if you don't have a roof rack. They won't work with the prinsu roof rack. However, the mounts you do need should be included with the lightpods. If you look at purchasing the same item from other vendors, baja designs includes the mounts you need for a prinsu roof rack. I'll attach a photo for reference. No big deal, they can just send me the mounts I need, right? Well I contacted support via email, still haven't gotten a response. Tried their text message chat services, which seem like they are run by AI because I feel like I'm just running in circles with the information im providing. I'm just going to contact baja designs directly in the morning. We all know the anticipation and excitement you get from planning an install day, but it sucks knowing I'll probably have to wait a few more weeks to finally get this thing installed.

Baja 7 XL Full Amber light kit

Impressive that you can purchase a whole inclusive kit with everything included. Particularly nice also was the attention to detail in the protective packaging and boxing of the complete kit. Expect it to arrive intact and all pieces and accessories complete. This kit is basically plug and play. Was able to mount it as a novice in under a half hour from opening the box. It was also. Ice to track shipping to doorstep. In case you live in an area where the treacherous porch pirates roam. The capabilities, aesthetics, and ease of instal and the incredible area and brilliance of light these things out off allows for a rating of 9/10. Why 9? Because if you give engineers a 10, nothing will continue to improve or advance. I strongly believe this is the #1 kit on the market. You will get what you pay for and then some. One thing they could do to improve the product is ship white or amber lenses as an alternative accessory regardless of what you ordered. To make plastic is like $1.00, come on Baja Designs do you need to be that greedy of a company you can’t give the community a little reprieve and love? Respect your customers a little more. Ordering separate lenses for this expensive kit seems to be a little ridiculous. We all truly know it takes 1/3 of the total cost to manufacture these. We get the middle man and we get the shipping costs. You could include extra lenses to swap out. Yes that comment is a little in your face but I want you to think hard about it. It’s the old style but new

This light at if you will, is like the old Skool KC light pods, but a million times better. The looks will make your truck stand out. The light output might as well confirm we mastered fusion energy, because they are ridiculously bright. Instal on the prinsu is self explanatory. It’s too easy. The wiring harness routing is kinda meh but you more than likely will be doing a custom wiring install anyways. 10/10 can recommend. I will be getting the smaller version for the front bumper later.
