Army Green Returns for 2021

Toyota Sticks to the Plan

As has been tradition in the past, Toyota releases a new Tacoma TRD Pro color each year. Each year the new color is exclusive to the TRD Pro, then gets released to other models the following year. The pattern continues for 2021 as Army Green will now be available in the TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, and Limited models. The 2021 exclusive TRD Pro color is Lunar Rock and has been shown in official images here.

Something is Missing

We love the Army Green color, it's one of our favorite Tacoma colors alongside Cement. But what really made the Army Green color pop was all the black accents on the TRD Pro, which isn't included on the TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, and Limited Packages. The all black wheels and the TRD Pro Grille really complimented the green, and we're missing those. So we think a few upgrades will be necessary to get these 2021 Army Green models looking next level.

Final Thoughts

We're happy to see Army Green coming back for the 2021 model year. It's a gorgeous color and it will be great to have in other trim levels. We anticipate this being a big seller and under high demand when they start hitting dealerships. It will be interesting to see how these sell in comparison to the Quicksand and Cement which has sold phenomenally over the past few years.
