Really!?… no installation instructions??

I got them “free“ with my taco points. I have not installed them yet. I was expecting them to be a lot more “plug and play“ than they are. I thought I would install them in a few hours one day over the weekend until I read the review saying you had to remove the bumper and the grill to install. I’m planning to get a front bumper so when I install that I will install these. In the meantime I will have to do some research in order to find out how they are expected to be installed since no Instructions come with them. Not even a link provided. Had I actually paid retail price for these I would not have even given them two stars. Thankfully the product seems to be decently made.

What a disappointment

Slow customer service, part of my order undelivered and no installation support for these lights. Definitely not plug and play. Tacoma lifestyle shorted me on some door sills and when I asked to return these lights because of lack of instructions, not to mention I was shipped an open box someone else had returned, they failed to respond. I would buy from a different vendor that has better customer support. Don’t think I will be buying from Tacoma lifestyle again

Review #2 After Install

Review #1 must not have been accepted to post but after working this up for 2 hours we've come to realize that this isn't plug-n-play as described. I now need to purchase transfusers to distribute power correctly without blowing anything (definitely don't want my headlights). Short-term fix is to only connect as blinkers and not full power to the daytime running lights. Disappointed ☹️ Not an easy "plug-n-play". Forewarned. Now don't recommend UNLESS you're an experienced electrical installer. Sorry TLS

No instructions for install - no response from Customer Service

This is a difficult install if you don't have the experience removing the grill AND the bumper. You won't know this because there is no instructions to follow. You're on your own. I used a combination of various YouTube videos from random people who I was skeptical to follow but after about 2 hours, I get things working. I emailed CS but they told he they'd provide me something "tomorrow". That was like a month ago. Unfortunate cause everything else I've bought had some sort of instructions I followed or even an install video. I can't honestly recommend this product unless you're experienced or wanna pay the labor costs 3rd party. After full install, I really enjoy the startup sequence and brightness and sequential signal. If you're willing to take this on, you won't regret the final product.
