GETTING TECHY: The headlamp is designed for the original halogen filament. That means that there's a perfect geometry to where you need to place the light source to get the best possible output. If you shift that source too far in one direction or another you simply won't get the best performance. That's why we've used three Lumileds ZES on each side of the light head in an undomed configuration. It matches the size of the original source almost perfectly and it is miles better than the 4-emitter arrays or domed COB emitters available on the market.

LUMENS & LIGHT OUTPUT TRUTH: The truth is that much like manufacturers measure horsepower at the crank, not at the wheels, many light builders and merchants quote lumen numbers that are taken right after the bulb is lit up in a cold chamber, not after it's had time to operate for any real amount of time. We don't pull those tricks on you. These pump out 1750 lumens after a full hour of running in 60C or 140F heat. That means that you're getting real super bright white with our 5500K color temperature every day, all the time, from start to finish without worry. Don't be fooled by a bunch of fake hype. THE DETAILS: These lights are really bespoke bits of artwork. The 25mm rigid tail of light head is considerably smaller than other LED bulbs on the market because we know many of them don't fit properly. In addition, the light head itself is clockable. That reduced size doesn't require us to skimp on materials though because we've used only the best copper circuit boards for optimal thermal conductivity. Truly, this is the top-performing LED bulb with OE-level quality and "fit it and forget it" durability and dependability.
