Operation

  • To Start:  Press the lock button 3 times on factory key FOB
  • To Stop:  Press the lock button 3 more times while engine is on
  • Parking Lights will illuminate
  • Run Time is 15 minutes 
  • All doors, and hood must be closed

 Special Notes

    • The engine will NOT turn off when any door is opened
      • After remote starting, unlock and enter the vehicle with your fob present (engine will continue running), tap the brake pedal, and off you go!

      Nice to have, but...

      This was a long drawn out process. I was shipped the incorrect harness, as mine is a 2020 and you need a different harness. The one they sent was for pre 2020 and the truck would shut down and start up 3 times quickly. Make sure you specify, because I had to file a warranty claim for the correct harness directly from N2 Designs and they turned out terrible. I just got my harness back 3 weeks after they told me they personally mailed it. 1 call to find that out, 2 calls with no answer and no return call, 1 email with no response and 1 unanswered text. After all that and a couple weeks, it mysteriously was finally really picked up. The directions for the override cable that goes on the passenger side aren't real clear. I just guessed for the wires and figured it out. I'd recommend it for the remote start part (so far),just make sure you get your order with the correct harness to avoid a month long mess.

      Push to Start

      One of the easiest installs I've done on my truck. You first take down your dash under your steering wheel and locate the connections you want to remove. Then you connect the N2 Design kit o the matching connectors, follow the connection steps and boom it works. The first time you test it it might start janky like mine but after that its worked perfectly every time.
