It’s a gas cap with a lock. It’s works as advertised. Only real thing I can say is that It doesn’t feel cheaply made.
Finally a locking gas cap that doesn’t trip fault codes and set off that annoying light on your dash. This cap is as advertised. It fit my Tacoma perfectly.
So far the check engine light has not come on as it did with the Stant locking gas cap. But Stant was far better built. This gas cap feels cheap and the key even feels cheap. I wonder if it could be pried off with a screw driver or some other tool. Hopefully check engine light will not come on. So far it is working for what I bought it for.
