Taco Tuesday: 2024 Toyota Tacoma Reveal Date

03/28/2023 | Toyota teases an official reveal date for the highly anticipated 2024 Toyota Tacoma.

A surprise post on the Toyota USA official Instagram account finally gives us a reveal date for the 2024 Toyota Tacoma. The post captioned “Patented good looks…😎” features a 3rd Generation Tacoma with the license plate reading “040423”. We can only assume that an official 2024 Tacoma reveal will be made on April 4th, 2023. Exciting times for sure!

Only adding to the excitement is a poorly blurred depiction of what appears to be a new Tacoma. From recent patent leaks (see below) and renders made from those patent leaks, we have a good idea of what the 4th generation Tacoma will look like, and this blurred vehicle is pretty damn close (cross your eyes and squint… you’ll see it better). There’s even a cheeky little nod to the “Brazilian Patent Office” which has been reportedly responsible for leaking those patent images. Toyota has got jokes and we’re here for it!

Further interpretation of the post gives us more insight into Toyota’s humor. The prospective reveal date 04/04 is only fitting for the 4th Generation Tacoma, and with April 4th being on a Tuesday the reveal of a new Tacoma will likely be on a “Taco Tuesday”. We love this kind of stuff!
