Take your outdated stick out key, and turn it into a flip out key!
** Please note that the flip fob ONLY works with vehicles that have a stick out key. If you have a push start vehicle this fob will NOT WORK with your key. This kit will come with a blank key that you will need to get cut. **

These flip fobs are one of the only aftermarket options available on the market. They are pretty decent, the instructions are clear and if you need to replace the shell, the key blank (if you already cut one for your previous meso custom flip shell) will fit into the new one. Which leads me to the not so fun part They BREAK so often. I have had 3 of them all break in the same way. The little button that releases the key always seems to delaminate from the shell. Which then causes the flip mechanism to fail. Causing the key to open up only half way. I then have to force it open to "click" the rotating tumbler into it's proper slot. I which meso made a version from sintered metal and charged a bit more for them. Honestly if you're ok with replacing them every 10 - 14 months, I recommend them. I am a mechanical engineer and product designer, so if meso wants to reach out on how to fix this. Hit me up.

This is my second Miso flip fob. The first one lasted about 2 years then the flip spring broke. Miso hooked me up with a new flip mechanism and it lasted about 1 year then the lock mechanism that holds it closed broke. This new one feels tougher and flips open stronger. I don’t know if it’s a new design but I like this one much better than my first one. Miso is always out of stock. I found Tacoma Lifestyle online and they have plenty of colors to choose from.
